Infusions

When you take vitamins orally, the number of nutrients your body absorbs from your gastrointestinal tract can vary. In fact, you might only be absorbing a small portion of the nutrients available. With an infusion, vitamins, minerals, amd amino acids are introduced directly into your bloodstream by intravenous (IV) administration. In contrast to taking vitamins orally, the nutirents are immediately available for cellular use and undergo much better absorption.

Benefits include increased energy, faster recovery, improved immune function, cellular detoxification, age management, and an overall improvement in your sense of well-being.

The number of therapy infusions required varies based on the needs of each patient. We advise that you have a conversation with your provider about your wellness objectives, your current routine, and your overall health.

Yes! We encourage you to talk with our provider to go over your particular concerns and wellness objectives. You will decide together on a treatment strategy that is tailored to your unique needs.

  • Make sure the infusion therapy medical history intake form is completed online.
  • Bring a copy of any bloodwork done within the last 12 months.
  • Review the consent form and prepare any questions you may have. You and your provider you will review these prior to your first treatment.
  • Make sure you are well hydrated. We suggest drinking one or two 16-ounce bottles of water within 12 hours prior to your visit. Dehydration can make it difficult to insert an IV.
  • Make sure you eat something prior to your visit. We suggest a high protein snack, such as a protein bar, cheese, yogurt, or eggs. Low blood sugar can make you feel weak, light- headed, or dizzy.

Weight Loss

We offer Semaglutide, a powerful appetite suppressant recently approved by the FDA that many weight-loss experts are calling a "game changer." We combine it with the L-Carnitine, an amino acid that helps your body convert fat into energy. This once-a-week injection is provider-guided with carefully titrated dosing.

Anti-Wrinkle/Cosmetic Injections - Neurotoxin

Anti-wrinkle neurotoxins injections are recognized as one of the most popular, safe, effective, and affordable ways for people to "age gracefully."

Xeomin, known as the "naked injectable," is a purified form of neurotoxin. Unlike its competitors, it is manufactured in a way that removes accessory proteins that do not play an active role in treatment. The benefits of a pure-form injectable are the lower likelihood that the human body will become resistant to its long-term use and the lower likelihood of an allergic reaction.

Facial expressions, and their associated wrinkles, are the result of the contraction of muscles under the skin. Over time, as your skin ages and becomes less resilient, these repeated expressions cause the wrinkles to last.

Xeomin and other neurotoxins work by the same mechanism to reduce this effect. These prescription medications block the signals from the nerves to the muscles that would normally allow the muscles to contract. As a result, the muscles relax, the existing wrinkles smooth out, and the potential for further wrinkling is reduced.

Anti-Wrinkle/Cosmetic Injections - Dermal Filler

Anti-wrinkle dermal filler injections are recognized as one of the most popular, safe, effective, and affordable ways for people to "age gracefully."

Dermal fillers are made of Hyaluronic acid (HA) in gel form. HA is a naturally occurring substance in the body that is responsible for skin moisture and hydration. As we age, production of HA decreases, leading to lost volume and dehydrated skin. HA dermal fillers add volume to the facial structures, are very hydrophilic (hydrating), and look very natural.

As we age, our face naturally begins to lose volume due to a decrease in both Hyaluronic acid (HA) and fat. This can result in sagging cheeks, lines around the mouth and nose, and thinning lips. Fillers help to counteract the effects of aging by restoring volume, smoothing lines, softening creases, and enhancing facial contours. Filler longevity varies depending on many factors, but results typically last 6-12 months depending on the area treated, the severity of the issue, and a person's metabolism.

We always start with a free consultation where we do a thorough examination of your face. We will spend time with you, learning about your appearance goals and explaining the procedure in detail, so you can decide if it's right for you. Once you're comfortable with your decision, we decide on a personalized treatment plan.

When you come for your treatment, we may apply some numbing cream to sensitive areas. Then we will make a series of injections, strategically placed in different areas of your face. The treatment typically takes less than an hour, and there is little discomfort.

There may be some redness or swelling afterward, but these diminish quickly.

A few simple guidelines before your treatment can make a difference between a good result and a fantastic one:

  • If you have a history of herpes (cold sores), it is recommended that you are pre-treated with medication. We recommend 2000mg (2gm) of Valtrex the day before or on the day of the treatment and then another 2000mg 12 hours after the first dose was taken.

    * * Please let us know that you need a prescription if you do not have this medication on hand. * *

  • If you have a special event or vacation coming up, we recommend that you schedule your treatment at least 2 weeks in advance.
  • If you take of Aspirin, Motrin, Gingko Biloba, Garlic, Flax Oil, Cod Liver Oil, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, or any other essential fatty acids, we recommend that you discontinue their use for at least 1 week before and after treatment in order to minimize bruising and bleeding.
  • We recommend that you avoid alcohol, caffeine, niacin supplement, high-sodium foods, high-sugar foods, refined carbohydrates (you may eat fruit), spicy foods, and cigarettes 24-48 hours before and after your treatment in order to minimize bruising.
  • We recommend you discontinue Retin-A two 2-3 days before treatment to decrease redness and irritation.
  • Remain upright for the first 5-6 hours following the treatment.
  • Do not participate in activities that include heavy lifting, vigorous exercise, or straining for 2-3 hours following treatment.
  • Do not touch the injection sites for 6 hours after treatment to avoid irritation, sores, possible scarring, and other issues.
  • Avoid vigorous exercise as well as sun and heat exposure for 3 days after treatment.
  • Bruising in the injected area is normal and often expected, especially for treatments near the eyes. Bruising can last up to several weeks, although taking Arnica may help diminish it.
  • A follow-up visit 10-14 days after treatment is suggested in order to assess the results for subsequent treatments, particularly if you are a first-time client.
  • Although rare, infection in the injected area is possible. Signs of infection may include redness and tenderness in the infected area or a fever. Should you develop an infection, antibiotics may be necessary. Please contact us should you have any concerns.

Chemical Peel

The VI Peel is a gentle yet powerful medical-grade peel that contains a unique blend of 5 different acids designed to target multiple conditions and provide the following benefits:

  • Even out skin tone
  • Helps lift melasma and hyperpigmentation
  • Improve acne
  • Refine and improve fine lines
  • Stimulate collagen production

The VI Peel appointment takes 30 minutes while the entire peel process takes approximately 7 days.

  • Days 1-2: Your skin will feel tight and will have a "tan" or bronzed look or be pink, blotchy, and shiny.
  • Days 3-5: Your skin should start the peeling process where you will see sloughing, typically around the mouth, forehead, and neck.
  • Days 6-7: The peeling will start to subside and new skin will be visible. 1 week after peeling is complete, you can resume your daily skincare regime.

If a series of peels is recommended, you can have one every 4-6 weeks as directed by your practitioner.

The amount of peeling varies with each client. Note that the treatment is occurring on a cellular level; its effectiveness is not related to the amount of skin sloughing.

You can use your regular skincare program up until the peel unless you are using products with high levels of Retinols, AHAs, Vitamin A, or Hydroquinone. In that case, you should stop using these products 1 week before your peel. You should also avoid any laser hair removal, waxing, electrolysis, or depilatory creams starting 1 week before the peel.

There will be take-home instructions and products for you to use. We will explain all the steps for your home care routine. You must follow the post-peel instructions. Some of these are:

  • Use cool water only on the area
  • Do not peel or pick your skin
  • You can apply makeup 1 day after the peel with clean brushes or disposable applicators
  • Increase your water intake
  • Wear sunscreen and a hat when outdoors
  • Avoid exercise for 3-4 days

Unlike other chemical peels, the VI Peel treatment is virtually painless, requires no skin preconditioning, involves minimal downtime, and comes with a comprehensive Patient Take-Home Care Kit to help your healing during the exfoliation process. The kit includes:

  • Post-Peel Towelettes
  • Post-Peel Protectant
